A Postscript Generator for Encoder Wheels

Here's a short postscript program by Tim Brandon to print patterns that can be used for simple optical encoders. The radius and wedge_count can be modified in the program file to generate a wide variety of encoder wheels.

The file can printed by copying it directly to a postscript printer, or it may be printed on almost any printer by using a postscript interpreter such as the free (and excellent) ghostview program. The file is also available as a larger PDF file.
